365 has the experience to help clubs, or other organisations, set up young athlete sections, be they academies or feeder clubs. Our principals established the highly successful Bees Academy that acts as a feeder to Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC. The Bees Academy regularly takes in over 200 young athletes each week, between school year Reception and school year 8, during term time.
365 Athletics Academy also operates a Bees Outreach scheme using the same principals as the Bees Academy scheme held at Norman Park. The scheme runs as clubs at schools being either a before school club or as an after school club. These clubs include elements of cross country as well as typical athletics. The emphasis of any Outreach club can be tailored to suit the schools needs. Bees Outreach clubs are funded by the parents with a percentage of the charge going back into school funds.
All elements of the set-up including the athlete database, website, online booking, marketing, management and the actual delivery of the individual coaching sessions are undertaken or overseen by 365. 365 sees this activity as an extremely important facet to the long term development of athletes, the emphasis at this stage being more on process rather than outcome.
