365 Athletics Academy is in essence a Coaching Partnership, set up by three like-minded experienced athletics coaches who felt there was a need to provide professional athletics coaching and coaching-related activities to a potentially broad base of schools, individuals, groups, clubs and other organisations.
The founding coaches have extensive experience coaching athletes in the age-range 11 years old to 20 years old. Within that range these coaches have produced many:
- County, Regional and National Champions
- Champions and medallists at English Schools, International Schools, UK School Games
- England Schools representatives, England and Great Britain Youth (Under-18) and Junior (Under-20) internationals
In addition the founders are well versed in delivering athletics coaching to younger primary school age children, and are unanimously of the view that a good foundation at this younger age is all important to the long-term development of the child whether they remain in athletics or move to football, or another sport.
In addition to the directors, 365 has established a panel of coaches with a variety of skills delivering coaching for a wide range of athletics disciplines. All coaches employed by 365 Athletics Academy are required to maintain an up-to-date CRB/DBS check at an Enhanced Disclosure level, comply with the current DBS legislation, and be in possession of a current coaching licence issued by UK Athletics. All coaches employed by 365 are also expected to adhere to all current guidelines issued by UK Athletics on Welfare and Safeguarding.
Because 365 takes an holistic view of coaching, they make extensive use of many other professionals, for example covering the fields of planning, sports psychology, nutrition, mentoring, to ensure the athletes under their guidance are well prepared for whatever challenges face them.
365 Athletics Academy also has considerable expertise in the management and administration of athletic clubs, so is able to help clubs do things efficiently and effectively.
